We are looking for a Department Manager for our Rockdale Warehouse.

You will have managed a large team (over 20) in a retail, hospitality or customer service management role. You can work in a busy, fast paced environment managing a complex merchandise range as well as large budgets and expectations. Responsibilities: |
|
- Fostering excellent customer service by empowering and inspiring team members;
- Provide coaching and training for team members to ensure an environment of continuous improvement exists, and to provide opportunities for growth.
- Team member recruitment, performance management and rostering;
- Promoting merchandising standards;
- Fully supporting all advertising and promotions to maximise returns;
- Effective stock control/management.

- Management experience in a high volume retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate & develop a large team
- Effective planning and organising skills
- Strong understanding of retail financials
- Demonstrated excellent communication and influencing skills
- A ‘Hands-On’ approach to teamwork.
